Hibiscus ~ Shipping Policies
We Will be changing rates to reflect zone shipping in the near future. Rising costs in shipping and supplies are forcing us to change our policies. We will be using FedEx and USPS shipping method for our tropical Hibiscus. We are located in Southeast Texas, Rates are determined by distance from our greenhouses as well as weight.
CALIFORNIA SHIPPING:
We will use only use USPS to ship to certain areas in California. The reason for this change is the state requires inspection and in certain areas Fed-Ex ground or home delivery can't get them their on time for inspections, so they end up in a warehouse until the following week. We will notify you if you fall in these areas. Shipping rates for USPS almost double that of Fed-Ex. We will use Fed-Ex if at all possible in these areas to save you money.
Please scroll to the picture below to see how we ship our gallons. We will usually only put 2- 1 gallon pots per box. If you do not agree with our shipping methods PLEASE do not purchase our plants. We strive to get the plant to you as safe and healthy as possible. We will not stuff the box or add to the box unless it is safe. Please do not ask us to do so.
Please email us if you have any concerns or special requests for delivery.
Every order shipped will be accompanied with a phyto certificate insure your order will pass your states regulations and policies on live plants. Our inspector will be here every 2 weeks for the inspection and issue phyto certificates, so we will now be shipping every other week. Customers as well as any other customers in Arizona, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Canada and any other states that require a international or special phyto will require a $60.00 to $90.00 phyto fee depending on area, to be paid with the order. This does not include shipping. This payment is not kept by us, it is what we pay the Texas Department of Agriculture for the phyto certificate. This is a NON-REFUNDABLE fee. Please email Robert for questions and quotes on international orders.
We usually ship Hibiscus orders on Mondays and Tuesdays only. This way the plants arrive before the following Saturday regardless of the destination and shipping method. Our plants are packed very securely and survive the trip unbelievably well.
